Crónicas Najerenses

Since 1969, once a year by the end of July, it takes place "The Kingdom of Nájera" performance popularly known as "Crónicas najerenses”, into the square of Santa Maria la Real. The stage has been decorated with MSD Panels since 2005.

Crónicas Najerenses is a show telling about the History, traditions and legends that took place during the 11^th century in the town.

Thrones and succession, ambitions, battles, links to royalty, legends, peasant weddings, betrayals, privileges ... The History of the old Kingdom of Nájera and his court moved to the present days magically enveloping the viewer through a detailed recreation pervading all into a medieval atmosphere of Legend.

One of the most ambitious events that takes place in northern Spain, with more than 200 actors on stage, accompanied by a spectacular performance thanks to the large wardrobe, large props and an impressive display of light effects and sound.

It takes place in a privileged environment, the square of the Santa María La Real Monastery, the best architectural jewel in the town of Nájera.
